Cascade 1200K Report - Mark Thomas reported that the
inaugural Cascade 1200K was a successful event with 61 out of
73 riders completing the event. Had a mixture of sun and rain
and with the great volunteers, received many complements from
the riders.

Additional RUSA events - Voted and approved additional
RUSA events in Ohio, Arizona, Oregon, western New York, Iowa,
and South Dakota.

New Arizona Routes - Voted and approved additional
Arizona 200K, 300K, and 400K routes.

Tim Rangitsch RBA Application (Black Hills, SD) - Voted
and approved Tim as the Provisional RBA for the Black Hills
region and authorized to hold a 200K and 300K RUSA event.

Coast toCoast 1200K Award - Voted and approved a RUSA
Coast to Coast 1200K Award which is for riders who complete
four different RUSA 1200K events. There would be no time limit
for the award and a rider could earn it more than once

RUSA Safety Program and Subsidy of Safety Items for
Members - Voted and approved that RUSA would offer to it's
members reflective Sam Brown belts and Ankle bands at a below
retail price in which RUSA will subsidize part of the
cost. The safety items will be available from both the RUSA
Merchandise Store and from RBAs who chose to offer them for
sale at their events.

Increase Cost of ACP Medals - Voted and approved to
increase the cost of the ACP medals by $.50 because of the
falling dollar against the Euro.

RUSA Membership Policy - Voted and approved to
incorporate the following RUSA Membership Policy: :
"Randonneurs USA reserves the right to refuse or cancel
membership for individuals who have: (1) demonstrated a lack
of respect for randonneuring regulations and conventions; (2)
conducted themselves in an unsportsmanlike manner at
randonneuring events; or (3) disparaged randonneuring or
Randonneurs USA."
