  1. Additional Events for New Jersey and Portland, OR - have been approved.
  2. Larry Larson ratified as RBA - for new Omaha NE region.
  3. RUSA 12100km Events - RUSA is planning to offer more support and coordination for 1200k organizers and their events, including:
    • An application for RUSA approval of 1200k events - giving enough detail to get a good idea of the event.s potentials and challenges
    • a 1200k guide to garner the combined wisdom of US 1200k organizers.
  4. New 2006 RBAs - We congratulate the new RBAs on their good start:
    • John Ceceri (Saratoga NY)
    • Laurent Chambard (NY/NJ)
    • Bethany Davison (SC)
    • Susan France (Portland, OR)
    • Nick Gerlich (Amarillo TX)

  5. RUSA Souvenirs
    1. Wool Jerseys (long-sleeve) will be offered a new item at the RUSA Store.
    2. Reflective Tape Program - 50% of RBAs and 100 members have requested strips. Our safety program will continue to be promoted and emphasized
  6. Revised Route Submission Procedure - Here is the revised procedure for RBAs to submit a route to the Route Coordinator: "Route submissions must include (1) a cue sheet indicating segment distance,elapsed distance, and checkpoints (all checkpoint info, including checkpoint opening and closing times, found on a brevet card), and (2) a route map, highlighting the route, checkpoints, and candidates for secret checkpoint locations where needed for route integrity. The route map may be a highlighted paper map (or scan thereof) from a commercial county or state map, or a printed or electronic image of a map produced by mapping software. Provisional RBAs must also include (3) front and back images of the brevet card for the proposed route."
