- New RBA: William Medina has been approved as RBA for the new Puerto Rico region.
- New Events: new events approved for Houston, DC, Missouri, San Luis Obiso, and NW Florida.
- Free-Route Permanents - Rules Clarification - The mileage credit is the official
distance and time limit is based upon official distance. See website for details.
- Upcoming Election will cover two open board positions plus as always the RBA Liaison:
- August newsletter will invite nominations (for general Board positions,
and for RBA Liaison from the RBAs) postmarked by September 15th;
- November newsletter will contain the ballot -
e-mail voting continues to be offered as an option.
- PBP 2007 Planning
- ACP Sanctioning - RBAs might consider running some brevets
that aren't eligible for qualifying for PBP as RUSA domestic brevets.
- Results Submission Errors - RBAs are reminded they need to double check
results submissions since fixing errors after the fact will take longer
next year with PBP.
