- RBA Reimbursements
The Board approved offering reimbursements to RBAs to support their local events at the same rate as in other recent years.
- RBA Appointments
The Board approved Greg Olmstead as the new RBA for the San Diego region.
- PBP
The Board discussed several issues related to the upcoming Paris-Brest-Paris. Registration is going smoothly for most people.
- Difference between Brevet and Permanent Route Approvals
The Board decided to continue the existing policy of requiring that applications for new brevet routes explain any apparent shortcuts that are more than 1km shorter than the cued route, but allowing differences of up to 10% for permanent routes (at the discretion of the permanents coordinator). The difference is mainly due to the need to certify to the ACP that brevet routes meet the distance requirement.
- Routing through National Parks
The Board discussed recent issues with obtaining permits for brevets or permanents that run through National Parks.
